*indicates books of the Bible that were removed by Martin Luther during the Reformation (1516). Today, most Protestant Bibles do not contain these books, or they refer to them as Apocryphal. Since The Roman Catholic Church recognizes these books as Sacred Scripture, we call them deuterocanonical, a Greek word meaning "belonging to second canon".
